So glad I got this! I have 8'6" ceilings in a large house and have to change my own light bulbs or call an electrician. This 4 step ladder is perfect. I have a bit of a fear of heights, am 76 and cannot afford a fall. Even while standing on the top step, the extended top rail and the side rails provide the security & safety I needed. No up & down, everything was right at my fingertips in the tool bag. Every household should have this 4 step ladder. Excellent assembly instructions and easy & quick to put together. The ladder is sturdy and easy to climb. The handles are great. Our whole family l in ed it when my husband got it for his birthday. Our daughter-in-law already borrowed it to help put up prom decorations at school.

I ordered a paint tray for a ladder I owned for about 6 months. It could not be installed because the upper inverted U-shaped rail that joins the left and right main rails of the ladder does not have holes in it for the back of the tray to bolt to. Customer service suggested I buy a new ladder. Why would I want to spend another $100 just to add a paint tray?
