One of the screws on the ladder portion did not match up with the step stool hole. There was a 1/2 difference between the holes. I had to drill a new hole to install the ladder.

Like the ladder very much except for one thing. I am 80 yrs, old and it is a bit steep. I wish the steps had been set out a little further from each other so that my knees did not hit the step bove when climbing. I have to lean on the cupboard to get up the first step. Also, for those of advancing, arthritic years, a smaller space between steps would be nice. I am certain that I am in the minority for my complaints, I do not think I would have made them even 10 years ago, but age eventually takes over and new accommodations have to be made. Thank you for listening. I wil recommend this product.
